It's A . . .

precious little Girl!

My pregnancy symptoms have been so different from the last time that we were caught quite by surprise!  Now, with the recent birth of Gemma's two little twin girl cousins, John's side of the family is rather girl-heavy.  But hopefully there will be more cousins in the future.  :)

Does anyone want to hazard a guess at family resemblance?

We're very thankful that all looks well with our new little one so far.  It has been fun to feel movement much earlier this time (about 15 weeks for sure, versus 19 weeks last time!).  She was a wiggly little one, and the ultrasound technician estimates her weight to be about 10 ounces.  We're still on track for a due date of December 24.  I wonder if she'll come before Christmas or after!

 Like last time, once we decide on a name, we plan to keep it a surprise until the baby is born.  During the interim, my family gave Gemma the nickname of "Lily," and so far have been calling this baby "George."  Well . . . I guess we'll have to find something new!
